Our firm began on January 1, 1994, as Stephen A. Shechtel, Esq., attorney at law. In April 1994 the firm was incorporated as Stephen A. Shechtel, P.A. At that time, the firm’s focus was civil litigation and bankruptcy. In 1995 the firm grew with the addition of additional attorneys to include family law, personal injury, and administrative law. By 1997, the firm had continued its growth and expanded into estate planning, probate, and traffic/criminal law. In 2001, the firm became Shechtel and Sorrell.

In 2005, Mr. Sorrell retired from the practice. Shechtel and Associates, P.A. was then formed.
